At nineish or so I was running my first business - a bakery. I would get my mom to buy all the ingredients for me so I had no expenses, only income. I would go around and take up orders and then baked on demand.

I was running C:DOS Community, an abandonware games (old games) community, with my friend Niklas and help from many other passionate people between 1999 and 2005, during which time the website had millions of visitors.

Today I’m 25 and I have tried a lot of different things. I’m constantly trying to learn new things. I like to think that I’m humble and I like to receive professional compliments and criticism because I’m sure it will help me.

I’m Martin Frönmark. I have a passion for entrepreneurship. Born in Karlstad, Sweden 6 months before the first release of Windows I have seen the rise of the personal computer. I remember playing around with my first i486 PC running Windows 3.1.

Beginning of 2006 I switched to Mac and I love it. Apple really knows how to build great products.

I am studying Business Administration and have also been studying Business Informatics.

I am fascinated by something called crowdsourcing and the combination crowdsourcing + startups. Therefore I attended Startup Weekend Hamburg September 22-23, 2007. Then in April 4-6, 2008, I ran my own event called Startup Sweden (StartupSweden.se) in Kalmar together with of Drivhuset Kalmar and it was a success! In October 2008 Startup Sweden #2 was held in Göteborg (Gothenburg).

I started a group on XING (Xing.com) called Unga Entreprenörer Sverige that aims to bring young Swedish Entrepreneurs a tad closer. In November 2008 it became part of Young Entrepreneurs of Sweden (YEOS). Here is My Profile on XING and here is My Profile on LinkedIn.

In the end of 2007/beginning of 2008 I was one of the people who started the local presence of Unga Aktiesparare Kalmar/Nybro which is a non-profit association for young people who are interested in stocks, mutual funds and other forms of investment. Today we are 20+ active members.

I have tried living in Ottawa, Canada for a while. I spent summer 2008 in Karlstad heading a sales team for GodEl.
