Pranav Mistry brings the physical and the digital closer
Pranav presents in this (embedded) video how his project Sixth Sense brings the physical and digital worlds closer with the help of a device that has a webcam and a projector. It tracks your gestures and then follows the commands assigned to those gestures. It’s really quite amazing! Check it out for yourself.

NYTimes.com will look up that word for you
Happen to be on nytimes.com and then seeing a word you have never before seen? Use your mouse to select it and a small question mark image will appear. Click it and you get a pop-up with the word explained. The service is provided by Answers.com. I’m not sure if it’s new I just played around while reading. Definitely a useful feature.
Mon, Mar 17 ‘08 - Need to vectorize your logo?
I found this great service that converts an image into a vector file. It was exactly what I was looking for. It processes the image in a few steps and you select things like what quality the original image was in, choose a palette and at the end of the process you get to download your image (once you have signed up). You get 2 free tokens when you sign up. One image conversion = 1 token. It really saved my day, so I wanted to share it.
